(The pictures above show Paul during the Champions League final against Chelsea on 21st May 2008. Scholes was replaced in the 87 minute that night by Ryan Giggs, thus missing out on the penalty shoot-out which United won 6-5 thanks to Edwin Van Der Sar's save from Nicolas Anelka. The taste of victory must have been sweeter for Paul than most, given that he suffered the massive disappointment of missing the 1999 victory against Bayern Munich due to suspension.)
