Mark returned for his second spell with United in July 1989 in a £200,000 move from Scottish giants Celtic.
The 1989/90 campaign saw Mark strike up a phenomenal partnership with fellow striker Mick Quinn,
the pair bagging 51 league goals in 46 games to fire Newcastle to a third place finish in Division Two.
He is pictured above during the 0-0 draw against Sunderland on 24/9/1989.
