John Robertson's most famous moment playing for for Nottingham Forest was his winning goal in the
1980 European Cup Final - captured above by the lens of George Herringshaw. Played at the famous
Bernabéu Stadium of Real Madrid John's shot, from outside the penalty area came, in the 21st minute. The two
other players in the photo are England's Kevin Keegan, playing for Hamburg SV, and Ian Bowyer making sure
he does not block John's rocket of a shot. Forest of course won the Cup in 1979 with the winning goal then
coming from Trevor Francis's head. The inset image is of John holding the famous trophy. 28th. May 1980
