On 1st. June 20I9 he was killed in a car accident while travelling between Utrera and Seville.

His Mercedes Brabus left the road and caught fire.  Jose's cousin Jonathan Reyes

also died in the crash. He was driving at more than 135mph (220kmph).

José Antonio Reyes was aged 35 and had three children, two daughters, Noelia and Triana

and a son José Antonio Jr.
