Premier League game at The Britannia Stadium. He scored all three Potters goals - his first

hat trick - and the first by a Stoke player in the Premiership. The following day it would have

Stoke City's most famous son Stanley Matthews' 100th birthday. 

Sir Stanley died in 2000 aged 85.
