Peter Hampton later became Carlisle United's physiotherapist for eleven years
and later became manager of non-league Workington from 1998 to 2001.
He died, aged 66, on 25th September 2020 whilst on a family holiday in Cyprus.
He had recently retired after working at Cumberland Infirmary.[5]
