A £350,000 signing from Celtic, Anton Rogan was part of a flurry of transfer activity at Sunderland
in the early part of the 1991/92 season which also saw John Byrne and Peter Beagrie arrive at the club.
Rogan impressed during his first campaign on Wearside but had the misfortune to break a leg early in the
following season and in the summer moved on to Oxford United for £250, 000. Anton is pictured
above during the 1-1 draw against Newcastle Utd. on 17/11/1991.
