Mark Proctor is pictured above during Sunderland's 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.
Mark initially joined Sunderland on loan from Nottingham Forest in March 1983, before a permanent
£115, 000 deal was agreed in May of that year. He spent just over four years on Wearside,
scoring 23 goals in a total of 138 games, before a £275, 000 switch to Sheffield Wednesday
in September 1987.
