Sam Aiston moved to Sunderland from local rivals Newcastle United in the summer of 1995.
He spent five years at Roker Park, playing 24 games in all competitions, before moving on to
Shrewsbury Town for a fee of £50,000 in July 2000. Sam is pictured above during the 0-0
