TOTTENHAM - 2017/18 Champions League.

The Tottenham Hotspur team that beat Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium 3-1, in their Champion League
Group H game on November 1st. 2017. It was the first time in 31 matches that Real Madrid had lost a
Champions League game. They were the holders of the title - having beaten Juventus in Cardiff the
previous June and
Atlético Madrid the year before that in Milan.

Real Madrid had won the title 12 times.

Two weeks earlier Spurs had gone to Madrid and drawn the away game 1-1.
