The Open Championship. He led the Championship at the end of play that day, but perhaps the spectre of at last
winning the Claret Judge unnerved him on the Sunday. His final round of 75 was too poor to challenge
Phil Mickelson who, three groups ahead of him, was taking control with a series of late birdies.
