A final round of 75 at the U.S. Open saw Luke Donald drift from contention to 8th. place after
he had moved to within two shots of the leader (Mickleson) on day three. Starting the final round
on 211 along side Justin Rose he was unable to match his fellow Englishman who became the first
to win the title since Tony Jacklin some forty years before. No one beat par for the Championship.
Luke is pictured here at the British Open during his second round of 72.
