He also won 14 other noteworthy tournaments around the world and played in four Ryder Cups.


In 1974 Maurice Bembridge broke Augusta National Golf Club's course record at the

Masters Tournament, with a 4th round score of 64, finishing 9th overall.


At the time of his death, in 2024, his 64 was still the equal best for the last round at the Masters.
