The top right photo above of Paul in blue shows him during the day two four balls when he teamed up with
Robert Karlsson to earn a half point against Stewart Cink and JJ Henry. Ironically the same pairings had also
halved in the day one four balls. The other pictures show Casey during the day two foursomes, when he partnered
David Howell to a comprehensive 5&4 victory against Cink and Zach Johnson. Paul rounded the match off in truly
sensational fashion with a hole in one at the par three 14th and later commented "It's just unbelievable, that's my
first hole-in-one in a professional tournament". An amusing aside was that captain Ian Woosnam had actually
advised Casey what club to hit but his words of wisdom were ignored! Paul said "Woosie did tell me what the guys
hit in front of me,so I picked a different club because I didn't think he was right and it was obviously the perfect club
in the end. I hit a four-iron very, very hard and watching on the replay it only just made it." What an unforgettable
moment for the young Englishman and he would build on that success with an impressive 2&1 singles victory
over the world number 2 Jim Furyk, thus finishing the week unbeaten with two wins and two halves from his four matches.
