(Bernhard and Colin were declared joint winners after a play-off. The pair
made pars at the first two sudden death holes before it was deemed too dark
to continue and thus the title was shared. It was only the second time that
a European tour event had finished in this manner, the previous occasion
being the 1986 Lancome Trophy which was shared between Seve Ballesteroes
and,ironically,Langer.)
