The main photo above shows Padraig Harrington chipping to the 15th green during the 'Session 3' four-balls against Jim Furyk and Dustin Johnson at the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor. It was a fine shot by Harrington - which was followed by an equally fine putt from partner Ross Fisher - which enabled the pair to half the hole in birdie 3 on their way to a 2&1 victory. The two had also paired up with great effect in the 'Session 2' foursomes to complete an excellent 3&1 victory over Phil Mickelson and Johnson and Paddy can be seen acknowledging the crowd at the 14th hole in the top left picture after halfing the par 4. It was a pairing that seemed to work particularly well with the more experienced Irishman helping to line up the Englishman's putts who then promptly knocked them into the back of the hole ! Harrington was to suffer defeat in his final day singles match against Zach Johnson - the bottom left photo shows him driving at the 9th - but in the end it mattered not as Graeme McDowell produced a stirring 3&1 victory over Hunter Mahan in the final match to win back the trophy for Europe by the narrowest of margins.
