Rory McIlroy is pictured above during the final round taking his second shot on the 17th,
at Wentworth, where he birdied to take the outright lead. The smaller pictures are of him on the 18th green,
celebrating another birdie and holding the BMW PGA Championship Trophy. It was the first time the
Irishman had won a PGA European Tour event in Europe. At the time he had, of course, already
won two Majors. He had also previously won three "European" Tour events -
two in Dubai and one in Hong Kong.
