Watson sharing a light hearted moment during their singles tussle on the
final day of the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor. The picture captures
the pair striding up the 4th fairway on what was a gloriously sunny
Autumnal day - as can be seen by the bank of mud glistening away in the
background. It was Miguel who was all smiles at the end of the day - his
4&3 success earning an absolutely vital point for Europe in what
turned out to be a thrilling finale to this most gripping of Ryder Cups.
Europe had started the singles with a commanding 3 point advantage but
the middle/lower part of the scoreboard was looking distinctively red in
colour - hence the importance of Miguel's victory at number 7 in the
'batting order'.
