Ian Jones played in five of New Zealand's six matches at the 1995 World Cup including

the disappointing defeat in the final to South Africa. That took his tally of World Cup

Ian became a vital member of the New Zealand
side following his debut against Scotland in
1990. Remarkably, he missed just four of the
next seventy-nine Internationals up until the
end of 1998.
